We recently had the privilege of visiting the new Arkansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Jonesboro alongside the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association. The state-of-the-art 56,000 square-foot facility is truly impressive, housing advanced clinical and surgical skills labs to support ASU’s four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
We were honored to visit with Dr. René Lavergne and Dean Heidi Banse, whose passion and vision for this program are evident. It was an exciting look at the future of veterinary medicine in our state!
