DBH and AMPA Washington DC Visit

From April 15–17, DBH Management accompanied the Arkansas Municipal Power Association (AMPA) on their fly-in to Washington, D.C., where they met with federal legislators to discuss key issues affecting Arkansas’ public power utilities.

AMPA represents 15 municipally owned electric utilities in Arkansas, providing reliable electric service to over 435,000 Arkansans. During the visit, AMPA leaders met with Senator Tom Cotton, Senator John Boozman, Congressman Bruce Westerman, Congressman Steve Womack, Congressman French Hill, and Congressman Rick Crawford, sharing the association’s ongoing efforts to maintain affordable and reliable public power for their communities.
