The Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police named Representative Jeff Williams (R-Springdale) the AACP Legislator of the Year at their annual convention held recently in Rogers, AR. The presentation was made during the Awards Luncheon. The Springdale Police Chief, Mike Peters, nominated Representative Williams and Fayetteville Assistant Chief Mike Reynolds, co-chairman of the AACP Legislative Committee, presented the award.
North Little Rock Chief Mike Davis presented the Mayor of the Year award to North Little Rock Mayor Joe Smith. AACP President, Chief Todd Stovall of Paragould recognized Chief of the Year, Chad Henson of Truman, and Officer Lance Clubb of the Clarksville Police Department was named Officer of the Year. Vendor of the Year, Secure Outcomes was also recognized.
