We were honored to represent APTA Arkansas and RehabNet of Arkansas at a fundraiser for Bo Renshaw, a candidate in the upcoming special election for State Representative. The event, held on September 23rd at the Red and Blue Event Center, brought together healthcare advocates and community leaders to support Renshaw’s vision for North Little Rock and Sherwood, focusing on public safety, educational reform, and fiscal responsibility through tax reduction.

During the event, APTA Arkansas proudly presented the 2025 Arkansas Senate Appreciation Award to Senator Mark Johnson in recognition of his steadfast support for physical therapists and the patients they serve. Senator Johnson sponsored SB77, now Act 103, which ensures that the Arkansas Medicaid Program reimburses for physical therapy provided in clinic-based settings.

This important legislation expands access to quality rehabilitative care, helping Arkansans improve movement, manage pain, recover from injury, and reduce long-term healthcare costs. We deeply appreciate Senator Johnson’s commitment to advancing physical therapy services and improving health outcomes for all Arkansans.
