The Arkansas Ambulance Association (ArAA) leadership was invited to join a group discussion concerning highway worker safety. The group also included truckers, ArDOT, ASP, Highway police as well as tow truckers and legislators. The group is being formed to strategize on how to reduce work-related deaths of Arkansans working on roadways. The initial hour long meeting brought great conversation and sharing of ideas, the group will continue to meet. Following the meeting Speaker Evans invited ArAA leadership to his office to further discuss the current status of the ambulance industry in Arkansas. The ArAA leadership is grateful for the Speakers time and interest, as well as being included in the discussions concerning highway worker’s safety.
