The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation is committed to improving the smiles of all Arkansans. During these uncertain times in our state and in our nation, we understand communities across Arkansas are dealing with the effects of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Foundation has committed %500,000 for a COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Through this fund, the Foundation is offering grants of up to $10,000 to Arkansas nonprofit organizations addressing immediate COVID-19 needs. Priority consideration will be given insecurity, and resources for those experiencing homelessness.
The Foundation will begin accepting grant requests starting April 1, 2020.
Fund Eligibility
Grants will support the needs of eligible nonprofits who meet the following criteria:
- Organization must be located in Arkansas and serve Arkansas
- Organization must have an active 501(c)(3) IRS status
- Grants are available to qualifying Arkansas nonprofit, government, or educational organizations addressing immediate COVID-19 needs
- Funds can be used to cover fixed operational expenses such as: salaries for medical providers, volunteer coordinators, medical workforce (e.g., lab technicians, CNAs), rent, utilities, internet, insurance, phone, medical supplies, etc.
